29 maja senacka Komisja Zdrowia rozpatrywała uchwaloną przez Sejm ustawę o tzw. podatku Religi. Ministerstwu Zdrowia nie udało się doprowadzić do przegłosowania przez Komisję projektu uchwały o przyjęciu ustawy bez poprawek. Ze względu na liczne zastrzeżenia co do konstytucyjności tzw. podatku Religi, zgłoszone przez obecnych na posiedzeniu przedstawicieli PIU, Komisja zwróciła się do Biura Legislacyjnego Kancelarii Senatu o wydanie opinii w tej sprawie. Senat zajmie się projektem ustawy podczas swojego posiedzenia w dniu 20 czerwca.
